On 7th July 2026, the Club hosted a team from Ericsson for a Bowls Fun Day.  On arrival, our guests enjoyed drinks from the bar followed by a buffet lunch.  Suitably fortified, the team took their place on the bowling green and played bowls-related games.  Each game built on skills learned from that which preceded and there was an element of gentle competition.  The games were designed and led by the Club’s own England-certified lawn bowls coach.   To judge by the laughter, everyone had a fun time.  Bringing the afternoon to a close, there were ice creams followed by a cream tea.  Thank you to our guests from Ericsson for visiting the Club.
