Tuesday 16 th July saw just over 50 members of The Christian Community Action Group coming to the club for the first time. The CCA group is a local charity organisation made up of a combination of volunteers and employees that serve in our local Reading community.

PPBC hosted the CCA annual staff activity day for the first time, opening the clubhouse and green for a really enjoyable day of bowling and socialising both on and off the green.

With such a large group of attendees bowling was split into two groups with each having a 60min session of bowling either side of a buffet lunch. We divided people into groups of 4 and set up 6 different fun bowling drills, giving people the opportunity to keep an individual score, with the highest in each group receiving a small prize.

Many thanks to our members, who gave up their time to help organise and run the day. Feedback was extremely positive from all those who attended.
