Club Competitions – Arranging your matches.
(Remember matches can be arranged and played before the GIVEN DATE.)
- Check the ‘GIVEN DATE’.
- Can you play on the ‘GIVEN DATE’?
- If YES, ask opponent if they can play on GIVEN DATE.
- If Opponent can play on GIVEN DATE, agree time.
- Write match in diary. (Very Important.)
- Agree that first named will recruit Marker, where required. (Singles Matches.).

What happens if one or both parties to the tie cannot play on GIVEN DATE?
- The Two Parties to the Tie communicate with each other.
- An earlier date and time to play can be agreed.
- Write match in diary. (Very Important)
- Agree that first named will recruit Marker, where required. (Singles Matches.).

What happens if the Tie cannot be played on GIVEN DATE and an earlier date cannot be agreed?
- Attempts to arrange a date on or before the GIVEN DATE for the tie has failed.
- Identify the earliest date the Tie can be played. Do not write in Diary.
- Contact the Competition Secretary who will decide whether the Tie can go ahead.
- If it is decided that the Tie cannot go ahead, the Competition Secretary will decide on whether one or both parties are scratched from the competition.
